It is a blend of all of our strengths AND imperfections that becomes something greater than we can be as individuals. Ink is used as the starting point for images, texts, and designs. It is created from plants, animals, and minerals. It is as diverse as the people of the world. Ancient cultures independently created and used ink as a fundamental part of documenting their diversity over centuries through text and pictures. Ink progressed from the inksticks of China, sutras in ink from India, to ink for parchment in ancient Rome. From there it evolved to reservoir pens, printing press ink, ballpoints, and computer printer ink.
